Solar activity was low. Beta region NOAA AR 2595 produced a C2.6 flare with peak time 19:16 UT on September 22. Low solar activity (C flaring) is expected in the next 24 hours. Solar wind speed measured by DSCOVR gradually decreased further from about 465 to about 410 km/s. Meanwhile the magnitude of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field varied beween about 2 and 7 nT. Quiet geomagnetic conditions (K Dourbes between 0 and 2, NOAA Kp between 0 and 2) were registered in the past 24 hours. Quiet to unsettled levels are expected on September 23, 24 and 25.
